Mapsource said it's 23 miles! Sad part is that you could probably run the river in your boat quicker than you could drive from bull creek ramp to the hunter's point ramp! We'll have to make that trip in the summertime, crappietime, when the girls are out, and we have something to look at on the way! :D:p:D:p:D:p:DQuote:

Yeah but you know that part of the river has some good coves and places to hit.Need to make sure we got plenty of adult beverages and battery power to run the trolling motor.Might have to make a day of it.

Well me and Thrill went out this evening for some relaxing and laughing.Think we had more laughing than relaxing.We ended up with a mixture bag of fish in the live well.Had some yellow bellies,Hybrid,Spotted bass,catfish and last but not lease some nice slabs of crappie.We was over near Hong Kong packing them in.Meant to take a photo but slipped my mind till after I got them cleaned.Think I about fell in about 3 times and Thrill maybe once or twice.Then on the way back to the ramp there was some guys with battery issues so we offered them a pull back in to the ramp they almost didnt take it but they gave in.
Hmmm, my very own private guided tour of the lake? ;) That's hardly an offer a girl can refuse! My weekend is full though, so can I have a rain check?
I'll make sure he's got plenty of tackle and rods for you to choose from. As he sits in the front of the boat and hardly pays attention to anything but his rod tips you should be able to "shop" to your hearts delight!
We got to looking at the calendar and Canebreaker will be able to fish Friday the 21st or Sunday the 23rd. We have the Nationwide race at NSS on Saturday.
Perk Perk that is a good thing there.I like races most specially Bush and IRL racing on that track.But from place I fish I have heard them up there tearing up jack on the track practicing.But tell him to hollar at me sometime Thurs and let we can try and work out a day and time.If he wants to try out Old Hickory I may be able to help him find something up there.
Yeah I'm a season ticket holder - got 2 tickets to all the races there! Have had them since the place opened. I LOVE the sound of stock cars. Don't care for the IRL - so if anyone is interested in some great start/finish line tickets with special parking and pit passes let me know. They come with the package.
Crappie, he'll give you a call Thursday and will meet you out in Smyrna. It's not that far from here. As far as where I live let's just say I'm about a mile off Elm Hill and Bell Road. I love it here. Canebreaker's had his boat in my yard since Thanksgiving. We're ready to get it out. Can do with some adult beverages - but I'm a wine drinker - and don't worry, when it gets warm I start strippin down!

Keep me in mind on the irl tickets I love them little bummble bees going around that track.They are some great movers.And I will be around here when he wants to call.I was over near West Fork ramp today and seen a boat setting on one of them trees down in the water catching up a storm they didnt look like keepers to me but they was keeping them.
