Just a little catchn

Been a while since I got out, what with liv'n stiff to do. But my brother came down last week from Knoxville way with his boat (said mine was too small, lol) to take me hunt'n for crappie. Unfortunately, his motor decided to not work and we had problems getting parts. Well he went back home and got it a work'n and cam back this week to make up for it with a fish'n birthday present for me. We got out Wednesday morning and while the numbers were not big, I caught 3 nice crappie, all about 11 inch and had two bass spit the hook out at me, and bro got a 0. we had fun being fishing together. Now bro is more of a bass'n type fish'n guy, so I showed him an area that I have had some luck at in the past. He had a few hits but nothing in the boat. We had fun. Thursday morning we tried again this time I got three and he got three crappie and one red eye. still no luck on the bass.
while the visit ended up being more time fix'in things I enjoyed our time together. What better birthday present could a guy ask for!

I agree I m a guy who just likes the challenge anf being on the water. catching a bunch is fun but not necessary for me to have a good time.
