I am not usually one to fight the wind. A small tinny and light line keeps a fellow busy. Yesterday I made an exception, at the wify's suggestion. The day was sunny to partly cloudy and nice and warm. Wind from the south, and lots of it. Water surface temp around 84 to 85 degrees. Started late around 2 pm until almost 6 pm. Under bridge most of the day and caught about 6 small to barely 10 inch crappie. even in the wind it was a fun day. On the way back to ramp stopped to check out a dock that has been productive in the past. Got 9 more crappie and two small bass. So in all 17 fish came to visit me. Only bad part of the day was I found my favorite rod had gotten broken, how I do not know But RIP crappie max
.
