    Default A Nice Monday 6/3/2024

Had an ok day yesterday on Soddy Lake (Chickamauga). Started cloudy with a light wind. Became sunny with the wind picking up a bit. Surface temp around 74 degrees. Fished a bridge for a couple hours caught 1 crappie (dink) and 2 gills. Some guys decided it would be fun to jump from bridge so that kinda slowed things down even more.
Worked my way to a dock I like to fish and things picked up. Caught 9 crappie ranging from small to 11 inches jigging under the dock. Around 6 pm things turned off. Biggest thrill of the day was hooking a smallmouth under the bridge. He tried taking my rod away! lost the bad boy just as i put the net in the water. . He tricked me into thinking he was done by stopping the fight and shacking my 1/32 jig out just as I got him to the surface. . But the fight was fun. So, my total was 12 in the boat. . All in all, I had a fun day.

Sounds enjoyable. Hate you didn't land the smallmouth. Thanks for sharing.
