Planned to fish Morgan Creek but the ramp was closed. Ended up fishing Tieyard. Hooks in the water ~100…Single poled stakebeds, laydowns…spider rigged some…used both minnows and jigs…caught ~40 6-8” crappie and 1-10.25” fish (and a gar and a drum). Marked SEVERAL schools of small fish but no large ones w/LS...Probably 10 trucks at ramp and those I spoke to had the same ‘luck’. One said he had a good day fishing for green carp and had caught a 'nice' crappie on a crankbait from a kayak...Water was 53dF, some brown color but not chocolate milk. Got rained off ~400.
