Biofisher and I had a pretty good morning fishing for crappie and his freezer. We caught most of our keepers on a bluff. Fish were suspended 15 feet down and boat as in 37 feet of water. The current was running 25,000+ CFS and surface temp was 68.4 degrees.

Our lures were 3/32 oz jigs with a Monkey Milk Baby Shad and a Blue Ice Slab Slayer. Presentation was a natural flow with the current until lure reached the fish. They were schooled up tight and eager. We had 4 doubles on and landed 7 of 8. Gary had one to the boat and was lifting it in and it came off and back into the water. I think that we might have gotten a limit as we had doubles on back to back casts and a boat went by close and threw a huge wake and moved us off the spot. When we got back on it, the fish quit biting.

We found an interesting piece of cover in one spot that we were searching, but no fish on graph.
