    Default 4-11 and 4-12 report

got out early last Monday in Grasshopper Creek. Fished in the rain for an hour or so. I sure was proud I had every piece of clothing I had on. Managed to catch ten (10). Got them on minnows, BG baby shad and a hair jig.

got out last Tuesday afternoon in Wolftever Creek. It was truly a zoo. A parade of boats. I believe I seen the biggest bass boat of my life. He almost turned me over, no lie and I have a twenty (20) ft boat. In any event, I caught one crappie.

It’s been 60 here one day and 40 the next. It was cold and windy here yesterday so my wife and I mowed and did yard work in coats, gloves and toboggan’s. Brrr

We are lucky to get a parking place at the Wolftever ramp when crappie are shallow. Way too much pressure on the lower end of the Chick. It is getting hard to find a remote spot.
