Thread: Carroll County 1000 acre lake

Does anyone know if TWRA is going to take over the lake and if so are they going to do away with 3.00 permit and I can fish with my sportsmans license

According to a newspaper article they will if the governor follows through putting $11 million in the 22-23 budget to pay off the debt on the lake. This would probably put it happening after July 1. If it happens then your sportsman license should cover it like as it does st the other TWRA lakes.
