I went to radio school in Donaldson (Nashville suburb) and loved the area. I went on to spend most of my life working in Television, very enjoyable yet stressful occupation.

Sounds like a very interesting career
Yes Jack it was, exciting most of the time working in master control.
The stress became too much and at 68 I retired earlier this year.
Can't say I blame you. Dad says retirement is really nice. I have at least 20 years to go
Enjoy those working years!
I do. Yet a fella has to plan for the future

I mainly crappie fish from the dam above the Chick to Possum creek area with offshore structure my favorite way to single pole fish. Maybe two times a year I will fish Hiwassee and Watts Bar lake. I used to fish Tims Ford which is a beautiful lake to fish. Deep, clear, and has the reputation of being the Dead Sea. Now that Walleye are showing up below our dams, I am fishing tailwaters for species other than crappie.
I fish out of a blue Tracker 175 TF with 60 Merc. Minn Kota Terrova with spot lock which is invaluable, and a 12” Lowrance graph. The search for new fish, techniques, etc is more interesting to me than actually catching the fish. But I do enjoy catching the fish. Lolol. I probably get a bigger thrill when whoever fishes with me catches the fish and is overjoyed.
I like to see thise walleye and strip photos you post. Walleye are on my to do list. Didn't have them where I am originally from. Caught a white bass last Sunday morning. Threw it back because I had been taught to do so. Then remembered how good you said they were on the table. I will have to start keeping them
