Thread: Great Striper AM 3/22/20

We are moving into a great moon phase for fishing with the new moon coming on Tuesday. Phil and I caught 21 Stripers with a 21 pounder being the largest today, followed by a pair of 18 pounders and several more double digit fish. One Walleye, one Drum, and one channel catfish.

Water temp 54.4 and 42,300 cfs and several boats up there fishing, but most were not doing what we were so they didn’t bother us and we didn’t bother them. We fished from 7:45-11 am.

I fished with a 1/4 oz Shad head jig and a White Ice Super Fluke Jr and Phil fished mostly with 3/8 oz Shad head and White Ice. We had lots of fun.
