4 Species in 40 Minutes

?The Boss (Wife) indicated she would be working late this afternoon and since we work at the same place and frequently ride together, I knew I had about and Hour or so to go wet a line real quick, maybe even get bit by a Panfish before I had to be back and pick her up. Stopped by the house, threw the gear in the truck and high tailed it to the water. UL gear with a Trout Magnet and Berkeley Waxie doused in Garlic Slab Sauce did the trick.

Green Trout, small but fun. Ran back up to truck to get Measuring Board, no need to embellish size . I actually sprayed the Sauce on a rock in front of me then just rubbed the jig ever so often in the little puddle to freshen it up.

A little further down the creek I found a herd of White Bass. Small to medium size, nothing over 11 inches but still fun.

I always hope for Gills, my preferred target when bank fishing, and a couple were present and hungry.

Not bad, 3 species in less than 30 minutes, I was pleased. At 5:47 I felt the proverbial Thump of Mr Speckle Belly, and 2 nice ones came to hand.

It was getting late, 5:52 to be exact and I had to leave to pick up wife by 6pm. 4 Species in less than 45 minutes, I was pleased. All were released unharmed and may get their lips sored again real soon.
