Thread: A few unexpected bites

Fished deep for them last weekend and caught a few keepers, but on the last cast caught this 25+ lb blue. Took about 30 minutes to land on 4 lb test, but was fun chasing him around with the trolling motor.
At 3 pm yesterday while all the boats pounded Fort Loudoun, I flipped around a dock at my dads for a few minutes. 7 FOW shad assassin caught this 3.5 lb smallie and a few keeper crappie . It was odd catching that smallie this time of year so shallow, maybe the cold front moved her in???
