A quick trip to Cherokee on Tuesday afternoon confirmed my suspicions, they are still up shallow in the brush doing their thing. A medium depth lay down 10-12ft yielded some nice males all dressed up and hungry/ guarding mode.

?No big girls were home here, and you can see the snaggy abode in the background. I hit a few more similar trees and had similar results. Water temps are still in the upper 60’s. All fish caught on 1/32 light wire jig heads (needed) with the Bison colored Trout Magnet tipped with a white nibble. Everyone got a pass, even some Bluegill that are mixing in the brush. They are next on the Sore Lip List!! Get out there, they are still biting!
