I went out yesterday afternoon for a few hours. I did more scouting than fishing. And when I couldn't stand it any longer I made a few casts. The water was stained, it's a lot better than the chocolate pie we have had to fish for the last few weeks, 46 - 48 was the surface temp. Scanned points and a section of creek channel I hadn't checked before. Found some fish in 18' fow, on a outside bend. I tried to see if I could get a bite. I connected with something, not sure what but the first one pulled off and the second broke off. I moved to another location and found a couple of Spots that wanted to entertain me. So the day was a good day in my book.
