GUILTY. AS. CHARGED. I've got a certain way I love to catch 'em (deadsticking deep brush)...if they don't cooperate with that, I go hungry. Read about these guys trolling/long-lining and CANNOT IMAGINE. Grew up trolling for Walleyes and Northerns in Michigan/Canada and cant even IMAGINE trolling for crappie!? Trolling for crappie is how I learned. It can be hectic, but it can also be a blast if you get in them good. If you’re in the Knoxville area, I’d be happy to take you some time (assuming I ever get the chance to get out). Trolling for crappie is definitely an experience.Quote:

I, like you (sounds like), very rarely have time to make it to the lake anymore...even sold my boat to provide some cash flow on a building project we've got going on.
