Thread: 10” crappie today 101018

Candi and I fished a different part of Chickamauga Lake this morning and although we caught a lot of fish, the vast majority of those were in the 9.5-10.5” range. We only landed 3 fish over 11”. The biggest by Candi on our very last stop was a chunky slab 13”.

If the cold temps coming don’t turn the fish on, the Forgotten Child Fund crappie/Bass tournament coming up this weekend will have a lot of limits of small keepers. If someone is lucky enough to get 2-3 of these 13” fish, they should win the tx.

We fished docks, creeks, off shore structure, bluffs, and we were mainly in the river channel or very near it.
