What is a better way to open October up than with a short trip with my number one and best student, Candi? What better way to single pole fish than with Curtis Hobbs’ Litewire hooks, Slab Sauce, Bobby Garland Slab Slayers and a beautiful calm warm day?

Our total catch-for the two and one half hours was 25 crappie, 2 bass, and one catfish. All fish released and were caught on Ghastly!innows and Lights Out Colors.

Candi recently purchased a new Terrova TM and wanted a tutorial from me this morning and it didn’t take long for me to tell her everything that I knew about the remote. She will make a post about it soon, so I will leave that part of the story to her. Enjoy the pics.
