I was trying to get the cranks down a deep as I could based on the majority of the fish marks on my graph being down at least 15 feet to on the bottom at 25-35 feet. I don't approach it as scientifically as some the better anglers, but I do have a great time fishing for and eating crappies. I hope this helps somebody catch a few crappie.
