Going to visit a friend this weekend who lives in the Nashville area and we are planning on renting some kayaks from Hook 1 Outfitters but have no idea where to go or put in. He said they can put us in right behind the store but was wondering about if there are any popular spots to put in up river and kayak back down? Would it be worth getting some minnows to fish or just enjoy the ride? Have no idea about the river, like depths or obstacles, etc so any info is appreciated.
