A nice male measuring right at 14in anchored another exceptional limit of Pre-spawn Crappie from Cherokee this morning. Water temps are almost 58 now in the main channel and the pockets should be seeing some male fish move up. This female was still in deep water but looks ready to find a nesting area soon.

Thanks ET! You didn’t bring any of those Indiana skunks back with you in that new sweet looking new ride you got? If so go get them out quick while the Crappie are doing their springtime thing!

That board came from Cabela’s. They had them on sale a while back and I picked one up when I was there. It brings the fish up a little closer in focus while cleaning. I had cataract surgery on both eyes and now use reading glasses to see things up close. My existing fillet board on the table was just out of focus with the readers but not in focus without them. The new boards helps tremendously now I can wear my glasses and keep my fingers out of the way of the electric fillet knife blades!
