Default Fishing report Chickamauga Lake 10-19-2017

Jerry my fishing partner from last week and I went fishing again yesterday.
The water temperature was 69* when we started and 72* when we stopped fishing. We did a little better than last week. The crappie were still scattered.
The fish we did catch were around bluffs and points. The crappie were more up in the water column, down 8-12’ in 25 fow. All fish were caught on BGBS various colors with a 1/32 oz jig.
Had a great time, saw 3 fat does and plenty of squirrels. Wish we had been hunting! lol

I've been wanting learn how to fish bluffs. Do you just cast a jig along the bluff and let it fall on slack line?
Thanks chimneyman thanked you for this post

Exactly. CrappiePappy has a pinned post about vertical casting fishing. Do a search for it here on cdc. Very good read and info.
