Default Fishing Report Kentucky New Johnsonville area October 5, 2017

Went fishing at my spot. Caught 28, three short, culled under 11 inches, kept 20. Water temp 76 degrees. They are moving toward the bays. Will make one more trip this year to this area. I am using 8-9 gallons of gas for each trip. I will be moving to a closer slip this winter. I have surgery scheduled for the 17th and have to go on a high protein low carb diet. So i will be eating crappie soup with vegetables from the garden daily for the next couple of weeks along with some protein shakes. No favorite color used Bandit 300's. Bandit 100's on the dropper rods.

Great catch Don. Hope your surgery won’t keep you from coming to our ShinDig.

I plan on being there. I'm not missing that home cooking. Those are the best cobblers I have eaten.
