Default Hiwassie crappie 2nd time this week. 9/27/2017

Ricky and I hit the Hiwassie again this morning in search for more new places. Our catch was actually better than a couple of days ago. We landed 15 legal sized crappie and they were really fat and sassy. We discovered another hot spot for us and it paid off with 6 bites in quick order and all were nice keepers size over 12".

Bobby Garland Minnow Mind'Rs were hot today. We caught them on Glacier, Cicada, Roly Poly, and Lightning Bug. Also caught some on Bass Assassin Pro Tiny 2" Bluegrass. Most fish were in the 12 foot range. We didn't notice any strange currents today like we did the other day. It was a nice morning to be out. No wind and very little fog. Water has a pretty good color to it right now.

My brother in law is coming down tomorrow for a morning of catfishing. I need some slimers for my daughter in Louisiana, so I hopefully can catch a few blues. I won't report these on a crappie forum. Grin. Did I get an Amen on that?

    Congrats on a nice catch.
Hey post them whisker fish too.
We all like to see and know when folks are catching. No matter the type fish. Plus there is a catfish forum here too if you rather post there.
