    Default Morgan's Creek part 2

Headed to Morgan's Creek this morning. Anyone going to be close to this area today?

Plan on going Monday can't handle the traffic on weekends. Caught 10 crappie Tuesday only three keepers and three channels. Splater back bandit was the best color. I didn't go to morgan creek but was north of I 40 a little ways.
I am trolling over or next to brush with bait balls close.

I was kinda worried about the boat traffic, but actually the wind was worse than that was. I couldn't buy a bite in 10+ of water. Caught about 20 in 4-6' with two keepers. If these 9 inchers will ever grow up we will finally have some to clean.

Oh and not trying to stop the "eradicate the jumping carp movement", but from what I saw today, the gar seem to be alot more harmful to the crappie than the jumpers. I lost 2 cranks and 2 roadrunners to them toothy things. I absolutely hate them things. I felt like I was at the Mississippi river today with all of them things around.

In the areas you and I fish it is a real hazard. I try not to use anything shinny and never go above 1.7 unless nothing else works.
