Great report! Were they all black crappie? That's how it seems to be on Loudoun on the deep docks.

Dr Phillip Gawthrop and I had a fast and furious 2 hours of crappie fishing this afternoon. 1:30 until 3:30. We caught 31 keepers or approximately 1 keeper every 4 minutes. We had a little running time in between there as well. Grin.
45,700 CFS water flow and 77.4 degrees water temp. That is a 2-3 degree rise from yesterday. All the sunshine is heating everything up. We fished docks and a bluff. All the fish that we caught today were deep. That means that they were 14-18 feet deep. Deep water docks are good right now. We are having a crappie dinner tonight. Yum yum.
Bass Assassin Pro Tiny 2" S&P Phantom with a chartreuse tail is the only color that we tried today. We had them on 1/24 oz under the docks, and 3/32 oz on the bluff. I hit on that hot color yesterday and it was the only thing that I wanted to throw today. Crappie like them right now with the water clearing up nicely from all the rain.
The old Drumking is tired today. I didn't get my 2 hour nap this afternoon, so no fishing on the weekend. This is my normal MO anyway. TV is probably out tonight as well. LOL
