Default J. Percy Priest and Old Hickory

Might be moving down to the area and just trying to get an idea on the fishing in the area. There aren't many posts on here or any other forums that I can find. The last few years my main obsession has been spring redear fishing, but I also crappie fish and jug fish. Not looking for anyone's honey hole, just some general info on access, areas that aren't safe to leave a truck parked over night or even for the day, must see scenery, bait shops, etc. Anything would be appreciated. What about smaller lakes?

Check out FishingTN.com Tennessee's Fishing and Boating Community - Powered by vBulletin. That forum is geared more to middle Tennessee. I fish old hickory and the bass fishing has been on fire lately!! Seems the crappie is too. ALOT of crappie guys out there

You will not go wrong fishing the area around Fate Sanders on JPP. Stewarts Creek was a favorite of mine. Get you a good map as there are some shallow spots so be careful. Watch were the other people run and follow them. Plenty of stake beds in that area and most are marked by TWRA.
