Normally this time of yr I would be fishing Lake Barkley in Dover but next week I'm taking the wife camping at Lock A. Nice TVA campground on the Cumberland River. Even though I've lived in Clarksville for many years I've never been the Cheatham Lake. Is this a good crappie lake to fish and if so any pointers. Not looking to fill a freezer just taking the wife out to maybe catch enough for a meal or two. I don't have fancy boat or electronics, just depth and temp. We single pole, minners and bobbers by tree tops or buck bushes. Any tips or assistance would be appreciated. TIA
