Default Advice on ky lake. Paris landing area

My brother and I are going to try our luck Saturday. We have never fished there. I know lots on crappie at reelfoot but nothing on ky lake. If anyone can give me some advise on we're to go and what they like to bite. We will put in at Paris landing I guess unless yall have other idea. Hear long lining is great way there. I am at set up for spidering. My father might go and he's not been in 30 yrs. Would make his day to catch a mess. Thanks in advance

If you're gonna fish south of the bridge, you might be better putting in at Port Rd or one of the ramps in Big Sandy.
