Report: Chickamauga Lake crappie and mixed bag 10/27/2016

My daughter came down for breakfast this AM, so I got out late and fished by myself. I was targeting crappie. I caught crappie, yellow bass, white bass, drum, and blue catfish. All on crappie jigs with BG plastics and Bass Assassin S&P Phantom/chartreuse tail on 1/16 oz jig heads. I only took one pic.

I did a lot of looking at various spots, docks, etc but only caught my fish on bluffs today. Go figure? I took the catfish and a few crappie home for dinner tonight and released all the rest of the fish. The fish in the pic was a little over 12" and had good weight to it. He had been eating good.

Water temp today was 70 degrees. Yea! Wind from the south/southwest and blowing pretty good most of the time, but there was a little slacking in the wind in the middle of the day before picking back up just before I quit fishing. I quit fishing about 3:30 PM.

Probably turned the phone towards your left to take the pic (probably right handed). Next time take the pic with your left hand and turn the phone towards your right.
