Walleye on Watauga Lake Advice
Ok guys. Going to try something new. I have never fished for walleye, but hear they are fun to catch and great eating. I am heading to Watauga Lake this weekend to give them a try. I have never tried for them. First any tips on where to put in and try them on that lake. I would be coming from Boone nc. Second best methods for this time of the year. I have read they will hit crankbaits so thought about trolling my little bandit 300s like I do for crappie and maybe pick up both. Also going to try to make a few night crawler harnesses to try as well. Any tips are greatly appreciated including floats on harnesses or not, speed pulled, weights ahead of rigs etc. Best bait - night crawler or minnows, etc.
Thanks
