Night fishing light
I'm getting my boat ready for fishing some night tournaments with MTCC. I have the submersible light I like but seeing my poles was tough last year. I painted the tips white, use fluorocarbon line with black light head lamps and didn't see that well if I was getting bites till the pole was bending, light bites were not that visible. I set 12 foot poles out like I'm spider rigging, Ideally I would like to see the rod tips and line going down but would also not like to become swarmed over with bugs. I would prefer to not try pulling wires, I have a 91 Ranger and pulling wires is a chore. BP has flexible stick on LED light in green or blue that run on batteries. If I have to I can pull wire if that is going to be the best route. My drop lights are green so should I get green or blue? Any help will be appreciated.
Have a great day,
Ray

Have you considered using clear/blu mono (fluorescent) rather than fluorocarbon line ?? The clear/blu mono will "light up" under a blacklight !! Also, I'd use fluorescent paint on the rod tips, for the same reason. You might also consider getting a regular blacklight mounted, if the headlamp light isn't strong enough to cover the pole spread.

I used shop lights to see my lines. Get u some dc bulbs and change the ends to hook up dc.
