I took my wife, Wanda, out for a 2 hour fishing trip. It could have been a little bit longer, but the wind got up and was a wee chilly, so she wanted to call it a morning.
We started off at the #American Fish Tree that we have planted and caught 3 crappie, hooked three bass, landed two of the bass and had the other jump off and stick his tongue out at us. Grin.
Wanda's bass was a largemouth and I had the spotted bass in the pic. We only took one pic of the crappie. They were not big keepers. All fish released to fight another day.
Once again, I am posting a pic of the 8' America Fish Tree that shows a big school of fish, both crappie and bass around it. The 5' tree pic that I am posting shows a few fish around it. Wanda caught her bass off this tree. The trees are about 25-30 feet apart.
Then we went to look at Shellcracker beds and caught about 3 shellies and I hooked a huge bass on a rooster tail that jumped 2 times, giving us a great look at its size. Wanda said that it was a 10 lb bass, but I'm thinking more in the 6-8 lb range. It ran into the only brush top that was in the entire area despite me trying my best to keep it out. I just couldn't get the trolling motor to run fast enough for me to turn the bass before he ran into the brush. They don't get that big by being stupid I guess. Grin.

Great pics of the tree. I put one out and can't find it now. It may have gotten washed away. We tied cinder blocks to it.
Nice Bass. Oh and great story on the one that got away.
Good to keep her happy!

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean there is no one out to get you
