Went out to Muddy Creek this afternoon because I needed to adjust my new rod holders before an upcoming annual fishing trip to Joe Wheeler. I got on the water about 1:15. Once I finally got started fishing, it took me 30 minutes to get all my rods in because I kept catching fish. Got on em right off the bat and they stayed fairly steady for the next few hours. Had a limit in about 2-2 1/2 hours and started culling from there. Fished about 4 hours total. Caught 30+ fish. Water temp was 61 degrees. Most fish caught in 25-28 FOW. Color of the day by a landslide was sour grape chart (dark green black green). Caught at least 85% of my fish on that color. End of the day, had nothing else rigged. Good Friday was a Great Friday!

Nice catch. The fish seem deep. Maybe that was why I didn't catch many Friday.
I was around Swann's yesterday. Kind of tough fishing, hit a little spurt and caught several nice fish. We caught 30+ but only 12 keepers, but they were nice with the biggest being 13 1/2" rest was above 11". I think if we could have got a little cloud cover the fish would have continued to cooperate because when a few came out around noon that is when we caught our fish. They were also in 25-30 fow. Talked to about 10 others and the most anyone else had was 5, and I had talked to fisherman who had tried about everything and place you can think of. Water temp was 57 in the morning and raised to just above 60 by afternoon. Pink body chartreuse tail or junebug/ chartreuse was my best colors.
