Percy Priest Info needed

Fished Percy Priest yesterday for a few hours. Caught several small fish and 5 keepers. Three of those barely measured. Tried tight lining but did much better casting grubs. Will bigger fish start showing up the next few weeks? Do you do better hitting the banks, middle of coves or going deep? Where should you go to find bigger fish or was I fishing the right place, they just haven't showed up yet?

Also concerned about safety around the lake. Any suggestions would be appreciated, including the right to have a weapon with you if you have a carrying permit?

Yes, take a weapon. What area you fishing? Right now I hear they are hitting on the upper end. Going tomorrow on the lower end

JPP is an Army Corp of Engineer lake - you better check the laws, last I looked your HCP is not valid there.
