Any advice on finding crappie in Winn Springs or Caney Hollow? I can catch them in April when they move shallow but I have logged many hours trying to find them in February/March with absolutely no luck. Any pointers would be helpful.
I am pretty well restricted to these two coves with my little boat and I have inexpensive electronics.

I have fished for stripes below the dam, but not for crappie. Thanks for sharing though - might give it a try.
