Default Chickamauga Lake 1/12/16 work day and little fishing

Richard Simms, Phillip Gawthrop and I had a couple of hours to put out some American Fishing trees. They are very easy to work with and to sink. They will last forever and they should be a crappie and bass magnet. I want to thank Richard and Phil for helping me put these things out. We put a couple so that we will be out of the south wind and a couple where we will be out of a north wind. Whee. After we finished, I had my wife launch me at Tyner Lane for a 30-40 minute fishing trip.

I caught 3 keepers on the first 3 casts, then had one pull off. I changed lures and caught 2 more in a row before the fish shut down. I fished 3 different colors of panfish assassins. Blue Ice was best, Crystal Shad with a red jig head was good, and no bites on a Slamming Chicken. Fishing deeper brush with 1/24 oz jigs.
