ETCC Cherokee December 19th Results

ETCC held its December tournament Saturday on Cherokee Lake. Fifteen boats participated in the event in an effort to find the scattered crappie in the beautiful, but windy lake. Scott Bunch and Neal Alvis finished first with 9.09 lbs. Second place went to Wayne Darnell with 8.12lbs. Third place was won by David Jones and Eddie Absher with 7.22lbs. The big fish of the tournament was caught by Darren and Tracy Caughron weighing 1.74lbs. The full results are revealed in the attached picture. Most of the top teams reported catching their fish on either docks or blow downs.
A special thanks to Wayne Darnell for preparing and providing BBQ for everyone after the tournament. A great time of fellowship was had by all after the weigh in.
Four new members joined the club before the tournament. Several members signed up to volunteer/host the booth at the East Tennessee Fishing Show in January. If anyone else wants to help with hosting the show/booth, feel free to contact Darren or Tracy and sign up on the list. Or mention it to us at the January tournament...
The January tournament will be held on Douglas Lake at the Dandridge boat ramp on January 16th. Registration will begin at 630 and we will leave the ramp at 7am. Looking foward to fishing Douglas and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
