Default Report: Watts Bar tail water 09/24/15

I hope that another tail water report isn't boring to you guys. Dr Phil and I hit the dam below Watts Bar this AM and had a great 3-4 hours of fishing. Over 40 white bass, 6 Rockfish, 2 Smallmouth Bass, 1 Largemouth and 1 Spotted bass and 3 skip jacks. We fished current seams with Foley Spoons and were into fish all morning. We kept a few whites and 4 Stripers and released all the rest. We used the 2" Foley Spoon in white color and a 17 lb test Fluorocarbon leader with a 1/2 oz egg sinker and bead above a barrel swivel. We had one big Rockfish break our 17 lb test leader after a 3-5 minute fight. I caught my PB white bass, a 17.25 inch beauty which I failed to weigh. Well over two pounds and probably pushing 3.
