Default Report: Chickamauga Lake Crappie 9/22/2015

My friend, Ricky and I went out of HBSP this AM in search of a limit of crappie for the freezer. We fished 1/2 day before finally nailing the final keeper. We had a lot of short fish as well. 1/16 oz jigs with Bobby Garland Mo-Glo Blue Ghost with a Spike-it tail light was the best color today. We caught some under docks, but most on off shore structure. Both Ricky and I prefer to fish off shore structure and we probably could have filled a limit a little quicker if we had just stuck with docks. Our fish were around 15 feet deep mostly. Water temp this AM was 76.8 degrees.

Congrats. Great weather for fishing. Glad to see the water temps cooling off a little.
