Night shift advice

Would like to take my 88 year old dad night crappie fishing. Hope to get some general pointers on what types of areas to set up on. He's be wanting to do this for a while now and hope to get him on some fish. Thanks in advance.

Well not looking for honey holes but rather what makes for a good spot. I usually fish Tellico.

cant tell u about tellico,never fished there,i usually set up on a drop close to structure.

Can anyone comment on lights, I was looking at Quarrows but not sure how many and what size?

to start out for cheap the starfire 2 ,got to be careful with them or they will break.the starfires are white ,but i prefer the green myself,good starter light
