    Default Pulling crankbaits

Hi guys. I had a pretty good spring this year doing some spider rigging and long linings with trial and error. Now I want to learn how to catch some crappie in the summer. I would like to ask if I could tag along and fish with one of you around the middle Tennessee area so I could learn the setup and how to pull crankbaits or whatever else you use to catch summer crappies. I would definitely buy the gas and try to learn all I could. I am 54 and have bass fished all my life. I know plenty of bass fisherman but I don't know any crappie fisherman to learn from. I have my 2005 Ranger set up for spider rigging but I am not sure how to set it up for cranks or how to do it. Thanks, this is a great site.

Go Mississippi Off Topic and click on the post Pulling Cranks 101. Alot of reading, but tons of info on some experts we have down here. After you read these posts, you'll be ready to get in the boat with someone who pulls cranks. GOOD LUCK!
