Report: Chickamauga Lake Crappie 5-29-2015

We blasted off around 6:00 am and fished until about 9:00 am or so. Pleasant day to be on the water. Overcast and no wind.

We single pole fished a number of spots. Not any one spot was better than another. Caught a number of short fish to begin with. Made our move and upped our ratio of keepers. Catching a keeper here and a keeper there we ended the morning catching 39 with 16 keepers.

Mr. Whiskers was catching 3-4 to my one fish! By the end of the day he and I figured out what perhaps was going on. I changed from hi vis line to transparent line and began catching fish! Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks. lol

The water temp was 74* and the best color was anything chartreuse. BGBS on 1/32 oz. jig.
