Post Crappie on Ft. Loudoun 80 degree water temp

    Hello everyone

I have been night fishing here lately out at George Creek (Ft. Loudoun) and haven't had much luck and was wondering if anyone could give me some advice, any good spots to try or really anything. I have tried to fish in the channel little ways from dock. I can see on the fish finder that they are heading out to the deeper water to main lake but I don't ever venture out that far but if that is where I have to go so be it. I have been fishing in about 20 feet of water. I have a floating light that I use and have installed LED green lights on the sides of my boat and have small minnows around the boat most of the time.
    Thanks in advance

My experience them small bait fish don't draw the crappie. I haven't done good unless the bigger shad have come to the lights. After setting there 30 minutes if no bigger bait fish I will leave and set up at another location.
