Held an open big fish tournament yesterday at beautiful Tim's Ford lake where 4 boats showed up to participate. It was a cool start this day at 48 degrees and you just don't think about that cool of a start on a day they are calling for 85 degrees. The early cool air did not last long enough to get anybody too cool and was a non factor. All 4 boats fishing our wildcat tourney yesterday caught crappie and had a good time and reported catching their fish mostly as you would imagine, over brush piles and or under boat docks. We caught our fish casting 1/16th ounce jigs as my son and I competed on the day for who got the best of the other. We tied again this date and caught the exact same number of fish as we had done our last trip out so we both still keep braggin rights. We didn't have tons of large fish weighed in at this tournament but we had a good many catch a good many nice keeper sized fish. Big fish this day went to Joey Davis with a 1.16 BF. Congrats to Joey on the win. The water temperature yesterday was 74 degrees and about 11 AM was a great time to exit the lake anyway as that is about the time the lake lice take over.

MTCC will be having it's monthly tournament at Tim's Ford June 20th of next month.
