A couple fellows from the local crappie club will be hosting for the public a big fish tournament at Tim's Ford early Saturday morning and you are invited to attend. Details below.

Who: Anybody who is considered an amateur at crappie fishing. 1 or 2 person boat teams.
When: Saturday morning at Devils Step Ramp, Tim's Ford Lake
Time: Registration is 5:00 AM to 5:20 AM Tourney blast off afterwards asap aprox 5:30 with a 10;30 AM weigh-in start time. (All boats must be in weigh in line by 10:30 AM to weigh their fish. No late entries will be accepted!!!
Where: Tims Ford lake via water to anywhere on the lake via the boat you fish from.
What: Big Fish Tournament with a pay out to 1st and 2nd place boats. 60/40 split
Cost: $20 per boat/team
Bait: Live bait or artificial is OK

Only one entry will be accepted per boat for weigh-in and this is open to all the public, as its not a club event. No fishing from any location outside of the boat, on Tim's Ford lake public waters only.

We will use a table top regulation club digital scale to weigh all fish. Any obvious attempt to cheat will be cause for immediate disqualification. All fish must be caught during tournament hours by the person/team turning in the fish. We will pay out 100% of the funds taken in back out for this tournament. No club points will be given.
