Lost Rod

I was fishing Chickamauga Lake/Wolftever Creek yesterday afternoon and lost a rod to a fish. I was setting out my poles to do a little long line trolling and before I could get my second rod out the first one shot over the side of the boat and disappeared like a launched torpedo. My guess is striped bass or catfish. After that excitement I fished about 3 hours and caught 20 crappie in 4-7 FOW with 7 keepers. Most of the throw backs were just under 10 inches. I caught 6 different species of fish to go with the crappies. It was a good day and would have been even better if I could have landed the one that stole my rod.

Congrats on catching fish, sorry about the rod. I've lost rods to stumps, humps and hang ups in general, but never one to a fish.
