Trolled jigs in Muddy Creek. Took my father-in-law for his first trip trolling for crappie. Despite fighting the 10-20 mph winds, came back with two limits. Fish were mostly in 15-20 FOW (fish around 6-8 feet deep). 59 deg water temp. Junebug seemed to be the color of the day. Once we found them (and in spots out of the wind where we could fish), the action was pretty good. Great day, and definitely a Good Friday. Happy Easter to everybody.

Yeah, we definitely could have limited out much earlier. Basically could only catch them drifting in sheltered areas up near high banks. Had a few dandy line tangles trying to fight the wind before we gave up and just drifted.Originally Posted by Junyaah
