I can at least say I tried but my freezer is still empty. Didn't even hook a small one. I put in at the TWRA ramp and traveled downstream a little ways and started trolling. Used minnows of different size and some bright jigs. No crappie. I fished from 2' to 15' water depths. I have a new fish finder and it said the temp was 52 degrees. I think that was inaccurate. I did manage to catch 3 largemouth and several stripes. One of the largemouth was 4lbs. Cant believe I got it in the boat since I am using the graphite "cane" poles without reels. Saw plenty of folks fishing for bass, but they didn't seem to be catching. Maybe they were catching the crappie.
