The wind was the only thing scary on Tellico this morning. It would cut you in to. The crappie were on fire tho. My float hadn't even settled out from my first cast when it was hammered by a keeper crappie. I idled around for over an hour looking for schools of crappie on the new side scan and finally found what I was after. I was catching them so fast that if I thought they needed to be measured I just tossed them back. I had 19 in the live well before I started counting so I culled back to 15 and went after another school but they were all short fish. I found 4 large schools of crappie with keepers in them and caught well over 30 keepers all together from them. 10-12 FOW under a float set 8' deep. The only color they wanted was white but, it didn't matter if it was A fly or tube jig just as long as it was white. Here's a picture from the first "culling".
