Delo and I bought plug in and battery operated bubblers so we can keep minnows from trip to trip. Saves us 40% on minnow cost this season. Keep the battery pack on bucket while fishing and then drop in the 110v when we get home. Have three week old minnows in garage now without changing water.

I took a guest for our first trip together to Woods and had a great day. Fished a little over 3 hours and had 3 limits plus of quality fish go through the boat. No minnows and all but one limit were released. Found em deep and they wanted a dead stick presentation. Couldn't believe the day was so pretty for us in February. Went to 60* and very little wind. I think I got some tan! Fished a couple of hours Friday and it was nothing like Wednesday and then the stripe took over, time for the house.

Thank you RCP! That'll work and is what I'm looking for! I will have that equipment by the next time I fish, which based on the forecast, gives me plenty of time! Skeetbum, great day! I am learning every day, and that's the fun part!

W....lmart has the 110v bubblers in the pet dept for about $9

If your keeping them at home a regular ole aquarium pump works fine. Change the water out often tho or the ammonia from their poop will kill them.

Here's my minnow tank with a bunch of crappie in it. Nothing better than coming in from fishing and be able to clean fish days later. I just put the air to the tank because of the crappie. The tank is a 300 gallon cattle waterer.

I keep a few crawdads in it to clean up dead minnows and if I have less than a dozen minnows I dump them in and the crappie or perch will eat them.

Fishorhunt, you are a friggin' genius! I am making things a lot harder than they need to be!

LOL Nah... laziness has its benefits. Another lazy tip is how to clean or drain a tank. If you have a frost freeze water hydrant put the hose in it and start water into it then shut the water off and take the hose loose with the hose under the water. It will back sighen and pull the water out and if you have enough fall on the hose you can use it like a vacuum cleaner and suck out the poop.

And you amaze me again! I've already found the "tub" in the basement. I'm gonna stop throwin' my minner money back in the lake unused!
